I need to remove the orange splash screen occurring before loading each page. It is slowing down my site, especially on mobile

Hello Sonja Jacobs,

We released new version 1.6 of the theme. In this version we added an preloader option ( Appearance->customize->general settings->preloader ).
Please download the new version from themetim.com after then install again.
